Senior Bible Quizzing
Senior Bible Quizzing is a ministry designed to help young people ages 12-18 dive into the Word of God, and have fun doing so. There are two divisions: Intermediate (ages 12-14 and/or first-year Senior Quizzers) and Experienced (ages 15-18). Typically, we have monthly tournaments from January - June. Bible Quizzing is NOT a sport; it is preparation for ministry. It is also an incredible opportunity to get deep into the word of God with other people that love and believe this precious truth just as you do. If your church does not have a Bible Quizzing program currently, all you need to get started are two young people that want to quiz and an adult that is willing to coach. Michael Guerra, Florida Senior Bible Quizzing Director
Michael has been involved in Bible Quizzing since he was eight years old. After quizzing for 8 years, he has served as a Quiz parent, coach, and assistant Quizmaster. In 2021, his team earned 2nd place at the North American Junior Bible Quizzing Tournament in the Beginner Division, where he was also recognized as the National Coach of the Year. After spending 9 years in Juniors, in 2023, he was relieved and thankful to return to coaching Senior Bible Quizzing (He likes Seniors better than Juniors, but don’t tell anyone). Later in 2023, he was appointed as the Florida Senior Bible Quizzing Director.
Michael has had a lifelong passion for Bible Quizzing and loves to help other churches get new programs off the ground. His wife, Samantha, has also been involved in quizzing since she was 15 years old and leads ConnectPoint Church’s Bible Quizzing program in Middleburg, FL, where they serve as Senior Pastor. All four of their children are Bible Quizzers. If you couldn’t tell, Bible Quizzing is kind of their thing.
